On July 29 Wikileaks/GRU tweeted out that Robert Mueller "flew to Moscow and gave the FSB 10 grams of Highly Enriched Uranium (HEU) in 2009".

Following the link you are provided with the entire cable revealing the full context of why Robert Mueller delivered a sample of HEU to Russia.

Quote:
...Over two years ago Russia requested a ten-gram sample of highly enriched uranium (HEU) seized in early 2006 in Georgia during a nuclear smuggling sting operation involving one Russian national and several Georgian accomplices. The seized HEU was transferred to U.S. custody and is being held at a secure DOE facility. In response to the Russian request, the Georgian Government authorized the United States to share a sample of the material with the Russians for forensic analysis...
An unexceptional decision on Robert Mueller's part to deliver a sample of evidence for investigative purposes in a smuggling case after obtaining permission from authorities in Georgia and after unsuccessful attempts were made for Russian authorities to pick up the sample in the United States.

Why would Wikileaks/GRU release a bland cable about an innocent sharing of evidence by the special councel on Russia almost 8 years ago? Why would they frame their tweet in a manner to suggest something nefarious and why would they highlight the only paragraph which doesn't provide the proper context of this transfer?

Oddly enough, Wikileaks/GRU sent out another tweet that day attacking Robert Mueller. Why would the "global" provider of leaked classified government information stray into an American political issue and investigation that doesn't even involve their organization?
