How about the dumbass in charge? Trump is the one who is supposed to be running this ship. It's a freaking mess because he's a narcissistic, impetuous sociopath who runs the joint like a gladiator arena. Kim Jong Un runs a more effective, restrained governing operation at this point.
Um...the most obvious variable, of course: Donald Trump.
So, rank amateurism and incompetence. Almost as ridiculous as the notion that running a business qualifies him to run the country is the notion that he was actually good at running a business. The man has never had to answer to a Board of Directors. Trump organization is a glorified mom and pop.
Anytime you try to enact significant change, there will be upheaval. I think it is a combination of Establishment Republicans and the Deep State Obama holdovers in the agencies. Of course the media, being 95%+ liberal/progressive, and the Democrat mouthpiece exacerbates everything x1,000,000.
