He'll be impeached within 18 months max (Watergate took 2.5 years), but much sooner if the Republicans decide to drop him.[/quote]

Ya sure

It will run min 8 years judging by the butt hurt brigade. Maybe if you can trot out someone other than a clinton.

Trump will have to continue to lose approval before he can be impeached. I don't know how deep that has to get into the base. The Republicans turned on Nixon only after they started losing elections (Lichtman's Principle). On a related note, Trump dropped below 40% to 39% approval in the Republican biased Rasmussen poll today. This is the poll Trump was touting a few weeks ago as showing people loved him. He was at 50% approval then.

Trump is detested more every week. Rassmussen, the pollster that the GOP adores, has him under 40 for the first time. Which means he is really in the low 30s.

And, oh yeah, Clinton didn't try to fire everyone investigating him, thereby being accused of obstruction of justice. But, Nixon did. Trump is much more like Nixon.

RCP says he's really at 39.2%.

That's more or less where he's been since mid-May.

FTR, Bill Clinton had a 44% approval rating (Gallup) at this point.

Want publicity, get on the anti trump wagon.

the media will love you and msnbc, et al will invite you to tell another democrat bedtime story about how the mean old trump was impeached. then they'll even check under your bed to make sure trump isn't lurking with the dust bunnies about to eat little children in the midnight hour.

You can't impeach a prez because your candidate lost an election.

I still believe Trump won't allow himself to be impeached.

He will resign before it happens.

Trump has quit and walked away many times in his life, but whenever he is pushed to quit or walk away, he has always doubled his resistance and stayed on, even if only to quit shortly afterward. This has been his lifelong pattern.

Impeachment is the ultimate judgement from others. Trump cannot allow others to judge him, especially when the judgement lands on him alone. For him, than would mean taking the blame for his failure in the most entire way possible.

By quitting, he can lay the blame off on others, which has also been his lifelong pattern of behavior.
