The only orders the MSM follows are not blue or red but green. CNN or MSNBC are first and foremost about making dollars.
Bingo.
Get people watching and buying, that's what the owners want. That's what the owners get.
"The Newsroom" is an excellent series that explains exactly what goes on when serious reporting comes up against ratings. Well worth binge watching the next time you're stuck in bed for several days.
"Good Night, and Good Luck" when you don't have quite that much time.
You want to go to 1:42 in the video, where you can see and hear Wheeler telling Fox 5 DC the following:
FOX 5 DC: “You have sources at the FBI saying that there is information...”
WHEELER: "For sure..."
FOX 5 DC: “...that could link Seth Rich to WikiLeaks?"
WHEELER: "Absolutely. Yeah. That's confirmed."
In the past 48 hours, Rod Wheeler has told other media outlets he did not get his information from FBI sources, contradicting what he told us on Monday.
Since Rod Wheeler backtracked Tuesday, FOX 5 DC attempted incessantly to communicate with him, but he didn't return calls or emails.
On Wednesday, just before our newscast, Wheeler responded to our requests via a telephone conversation, where he now backtracks his position and Wheeler characterizes his on-the-record and on-camera statements as "miscommunication."
You do realize that the story you linked to came from the false story from Fox News, right? The dispute is that Wheeler is now suing Fox News saying that they misquoted him and yet you are taking those same quotes and presenting them as evidence

More layers to this story than an avant garde film festival.

Thank you. Wheeler reported this to Fox, then he tried to back down. I think there is a lot of information out there on this to speculate that the Rich/WikiLeaks connection might be real and should be investigated.

Have you read the reports or watched any of the Wheeler interviews? Did you know Fox retracted the story to which you are referring?
This is what Wheeler is contradicting in his lawsuit. It is part of what the lawsuit is based upon.
He said that Fox News invented this, and that he never even made the original statements Fox claimed he did. He claims that Butowsky told him that Wheeler "would be famous for all the statements he never made," like it was a good thing.
If you read the lawsuit, you will see that Wheeler says he could not back track as he never said it to begin with. He is suing them for defamation.
And Wheeler has texts and voicemails to back up much of his story.
Butowsky and Zimmerman--not so much.
By the way, regarding the Rich/WikiLeaks connection--where is Julian Assange? He could clear up the entire issue by releasing those famous 'alleged' emails. In fact, some of the more conspiracy-minded posters on this forum once claimed he would be doing that immediately (a couple of months ago).

You can watch him say those things. There's a video at the link.

There is video, which has been linked to in this thread, showing Wheeler make statements that prove that if anyone "invented" this FBI info showing link between Seth Rich and Wikileaks, it was Wheeler.
