Rush said Trump gave him a tour of the White House and told him it was more luxurious than he expected, was happy he got to pick the art from the archives and pointed out distinctive construction things that only a builder would notice. So Rush is skeptical of the story unless Trump meant to be funny. Perhaps they were talking about Camp David which really is a dump.
It must be obvious by now trump can say anything he likes with no consequence, he can make fun of handicapped people.
suggest 2nd amendment people take out his opponents
treat women with total disrespect
He can lie and distort the facts

And setting such a wonderful example for young people that you can be a dishonest, unsympathetic, nasty ass____ and STILL be president.
TBH, after touring the White House and living near it, I've never really thought it's anything very special myself. The most powerful man in the world, and the POTUS basically lives in a overly-securitized McMansion. So I mean, idk, I see his point.
But you know, it is not supposed to be a residence he would select (for the short while he will be there), but a place of historical reference where one temporarily lives (since he "WON, bigly"). He should be respectful. But, unsurprising, coming from him. He could just focus upon working....but, no.
Hardly a "McMansion", since the White House was built in the early 1800s. The security it contains comes with the job and is both necessary and unavoidable.
I wonder what the private quarters look like now. Most former presidents and/or First Ladies have conducted interviews, allowed photos (particularly of the oval family room overlooking the back lawn) or discussed what changes they've made and what their everyday life upstairs is like. The Trumps have remained silent. I haven't even seen any reports of what the furniture they presumably installed looked like as it was carried in from the moving van.
Are they making do with the Obamas' old stuff? Camping out on the floor in sleeping bags? Moving down to the Lincoln Bedroom for the night? Gold-plating the entire thing, and hanging cloth-of-gold curtains? Who knows??
I don't think they give a darn.. waiting to get out of there. They are different than the usual couple, shouldn't have been there in the first place.. but it won't be long.
For all we know, he could have conducted activity reminiscent of what had been within the Russian Dossier...
I would ask the moderator of this forum to immediately close this thread since a rumor WITH NO ACTUAL FACTS is fraudulently being presented as truthful. Until we get an actual NAME of the person making the claim, its just conjecture
