If one eats Halal food, why would they go to McDonald's and order chicken? Wouldn't fish have been the better choice if there were no Halal food available?

Why wouldn't they order the chicken? Pruzhany, you have said you spend a lot of time in the Middle East. Surely you know that McDonalds is popular there and that the menu is modified in the ME to include about a bazillion different chicken options.
The extent of the compensation for this should be a refunded or replaced order that matches what they actually ordered. It is dumb that this is news, do you know how many times they have gotten my order wrong in fast food drive-throughs? Probably almost as many times as they have gotten it right, maybe like a 60% batting average, and half the time I don't even notice till I get to my destination - then I get 0 recompensation. Where is my national news story that they gave me a medium fry instead of a large?
This is strange. My Paki acquaintances don't eat fast food at all, because they only eat halal chickens. Is the family in this story only observing halal 'lite'?
Almost impossible to avoid bacon in FF places. First thing in the morning bacon is cooked on the grill. From there it's just scraped off and the rest of the days food is cooked. There is yummy bacon grease on there every day.

Precisely, they are fools if they think they can eat at McDonalds and have 0 contact with pork.
