Sort of like expressing criticism of Islamic extremism and being called a racist.

Just goes to show how uninformed CNN is.
Acosta simply picked two countries that have english as their first language, India might have more english speakers than australia but most indians don't speak english. thus most indians would be unable to even apply.

Is that clear enough for ya dog? Do you get it, because clearly it went right over Miller's head, by a mile.

It must be hard for smart folk like acosta when talking to mental dullards like Miller. Miller did not understand that only in countries where english is the first language can the entire pop meet the bar, for most countries the vast majority don't have english or enough spoken english to pass . (only about 10% of indians speak english thus about 90% are ruled out instantly)

thus just a handful of countries would meet the bar. Acosta does not get twenty mins to list the countries so instead he picked the obvious ones that everyone would know, and Millers feigned shock was childish and while it might play well to racists at least 70% of the pop are not buying it.

So what's wrong with requiring immigrants speak English. Give it your best shot. I'm really curious why you're against it.

What bothers me most about Acosta is that he is not reporting the news. He is interjecting his personal opinion on immigration. He is a reporter. Just report the news!

Hey, I'm just applying the same standards that liberals use on conservatives.

Exactly. For countries like Austraila, an English requirement has been the norm for years. Libs just play to their "feelings of the moment."

If Miller had said that most Africans don't speak English, I am sure you would not cut him a break.

Yes. CNN is so far gone, many hotels have stopped airing their 'news' in their lobbies. Pretty funny.

It is and has been a requirement, since Ellis Island.
