That's some epic level greed. Demanding more money from the officials who are protecting you and your family, while pocketing taxpayer money.

Satan is warming up Trump's seat in Hell that's for sure.

The article mentions nothing of demanding more money. You're funny, do you think they should be able to stay there for free? Do you not realize that wherever they go that landlord is pocketing tax payer money? Are you aware of that? Silly thread.

Silly thread? You can't be serious LOL.

The OP provided a link to a story that is still developing, it's actual and real news.

This is all fine and dandy with Trump supporters.

Every time I think that this administration can't go any lower, it does.

This is such a blatant conflict of interest. He is using the Fed Govt as a cash cow for his businesses.

"After much consideration, it was mutually determined that it would be more cost effective and logistically practical for the Secret Service to lease space elsewhere,” Amanda Miller said in an email to the Post."

And it's silly only if you think conflict of interest in elected officials is a silly concern.

Yep.

He uses his weekends to market is properties and charges taxpayers for it.

After the story of the Secret Service paying Trump thousands and thousands to rent his golf carts to follow him around on his golf cart outings, they are now using drones instead.

Not sure whether they are trying to use their resources more efficiently, or Trump is trying to get some space between him and the Secret Service.

I don't know why they doesn't just use SWAT type trailers for the Secret Service.

They can haul these to whichever of his properties he is promoting that weekend.

They could have one trailer with communication equipment, and one or two trailers with accommodations.

So much ado about nothing:
Newsweek.com

A spokeswoman for the General Services Administration told the Journal the office in question is owned by someone who is not connected with the Trump family and its organization. When news of the lease—but not its value—broke earlier this year, Defense Department official James MacStravic wrote in an internal email that he was "not aware of any means through which the president would personally benefit from a government lease of this space," according to Reuters.
