I keep hearing this. Tell me how we're a laughing stock?

I'm currently in Japan. The Japanese people and government here for the most part respect Trump and his policies. Does this make Japan a laughing stock too?

All you need to do is read the news or see the protests in other countries. Oh, you probably think they are fake. But when we have a president who insults presidents and heads of states of other countries, how would you expect their country to react.

In the last 12 months I lived in 5 countries, and I've worked with countless locals (it's my job). The "news" that you so trust in, is scouring the earth trying to find the most insignificant protests that support their narrative.

Many locals have no idea about presidents or elections even in our own country. You have to talk to people who are really invested and follow politics throughout the world. Political changes in one country could change the whole world. And this is what is happening with Trump.

Oh, so now the locals don't matter? You're hilarious.

You're the one who can't defend your premise that "We're a laughing stock."

So far we're only a laughing stock to the far left. Prove me otherwise.

I don't need to prove anything to you. If you don't see it and recognize it yourself then that's on you. I'm not here to change your mind nor do I care to

Where do you get that?...I know that you do not like reality, but most Japanese neither like Trump, nor trust his policies.

In the recent survey, 56 percent also said that Japan’s economy will be adversely affected by Trump's presidency. Those who expressed that his presidency will have a positive impact stood at 7 percent.
