If Gore really cared about the environment he would have never invented the internet.

These little porn machines use a lot of juice from what I understand.

What he means is throw around buzz-word emotional language to try and make people care about a hoax.

We're just the plebes that must make all the sacrifices. I bet his "climate refugees " wouldn't be allowed within a mile of any of his homes.
Would you be more inclined to listen if he lived in a tiny house and rode a bike?

I suspect not.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Perfectly reasonable discussion on climate refugees veers into comments on how Al Gore is a hypocrite.

Al Gore could be a two-headed calf, but what difference does that make?

Please note the climate will do what it will do in response to the huge quantities of CO2 humans have dumped into the atmosphere over the last 400 years. It will get warmer with all the associated effects. The most pressing is the rise of the sea level around the world.

Gore speaks of climate refugees such as a few sea level villages in Alaska. This is trivial because they can easily but not politically moved to higher ground. On the other extreme places such as Shanghai and NYC are also sea level communities and moving or protecting them is not as simple or inexpensive. Building the sea protection dams, levees, locks, pumps to protect the coastal cities of the world will be the greatest civil works project of all time. It will not be confined to the United States.

So I say put aside your personal animosity toward Al Gore and just look at what the climate experts are saying. This is a work wide problem that will require a world wide solution.

Gore has become mega rich due to his alarmist, climate change hoax. By now Manhattan should have been flooded. Why hasn't that happened? What areas of the world can not be populated due to MMGW?
