CNN - horrible ratings.

FOX - #1 ratings.

Ratings = money.

Not hard to understand at all.

It's only become "hated" since your boy was elected President, and only because Trump has been called to the carpet by CNN and he can't take the heat. Thinking people are just fine with CNN, the Honey Boo Boo crowd?

Not so much.

Thinking people love cnn? That is comical and sad that is what anyone would think of cnn as serious "news". There are serious news organizations like reuters, Christian science monitor, asia times, the telegraph and london times , wall street journal, straits times etc, that are not filled with constant anti Trump stories, endless celebrity garbage and snl, late night skits and comedy central gags passed as "news"

The left lives off trivial crap like cnn, online crap like huffington post and failing crap like slate and salon, snl late nights shows and all the celebrity/ kardashian stuff the left loves and all the american garbage

Not as much as people are tired of watching Fox.

Floridanative, do you even read the articles you post on here?

Quote:
Selling CNN might help avoid a different kind of controversy for AT&T: President Donald Trump loathes the news network. That could be troublesome for telco CEO Randall Stephenson. His company frequently does business with the FCC, now controlled by Trump appointees.
Quote:
In October, shortly after agreeing to buy Time Warner, Stephenson said he’s “committed to continuing the editorial independence of CNN. Independence is what makes CNN so popular and so valuable. We will not do anything to change that.”

This would be a good time to sell CNN. News networks are enjoying some of their best ratings ever as the public feasts on daily updates about the Trump administration. CNN recently had its most-watched Q2 ever.
Quote:
Time Warner doesn’t offer financials for individual networks. But this week the company cited CNN’s strong performance as a factor that helped to lift Q2 revenues at the Turner networks operation by 3%, to $3.1 billion, in an otherwise difficult quarter for cable channels.
