People, this thread is about a proposed plant in Michigan, not Wisconsin!

This is the same plant. They toured Michigan before settling on Wisconsin. I think this is the cause of some confusion.

I actually did check that too. The announcement in the OP of this thread was made *after* the Wisconsin plant was already announced, so I'm not sure it's the same thing.

But that said, I still haven't been able to find squat about anything else in Michigan since the article in the OP.

The OP of this thread contains a link to an article that claims that there were plans for an additional plant in Michigan.

The entire premise of this thread was that Foxconn also had plans for Michigan.

I would like update. Can't find one.

Here:

IPhone maker says it’s building a multibillion-dollar facility — in another state Trump flipped
Quote:
Taiwan’s Foxconn, one of Apple’s primary iPhone makers, will open a multibillion-dollar research and development plant in Michigan, the South China Morning Post reported on Sunday.

That makes the second politically critical state to receive such a commitment from the multinational — which is sure to be seen by many as a gargantuan political success for President Donald Trump.

The Michigan facility will be focused on autonomous vehicles, the SCMP said, citing Foxconn founder Terry Gou.
So this appears to be more auto-related, which makes sense for Michigan.

But that's all I ever heard about it, or can find about it.

I already corrected it, 2 years ago. It was for Wisconsin.

I understand that you corrected your error regarding number of jobs.

The fact remains that the link was about Foxconn building a facility in Michigan. I wonder what happened to that plan.
