They are having a few 'issues.'

"...The Taiwanese electronics company has promised thousands of jobs in Racine County and in return has been offered $4.5 billion in tax incentives.

The plant will also require 5.8 million gallons of water a day diverted from Lake Michigan for operations...."

Foxconn wants to divert 5.8 million gallons of Lake Michigan water a day. Is that legal? | Michigan Radio

The role of government is to make commerce REGULAR. They are not picking winners/losers. Nothing wrong with sending jobs inland instead of areas where there is already an abundance of opportunities.

It's really too early to tell what his presidency will bring. When he's gone is when you can judge, just like all presidents, it's largely dependent on Congress. Still, too early to tell. I do like some of what he is attempting. Less war, more peace, fiscal issues, infrastructure. It's nice to have someone attempting to work on immigration instead of kicking it under the rug because it's not popular. Kudos for that.

We will have to wait and see how it all pans out. Anyone judging now is just hopeful, either hopeful he makes a good president or hopeful he fails because they hate his guts.

The unemployment rate in Wisconsin, where the really big plant is going to go, is already a rock-bottom 2.8%. Even in Michigan, where this operation is going to go, the unemployment rate is a low 4.6%.

Hahha that was lie number one billion of the lying Evangelical Populist party. The lie as often as they blink.

It makes sense for Foxconn to be closer to their customers. Apple will be investing $350B in a new campus. Why give China our money?

Not only that but Foxconn conned with a bait and switch already!

Foxconn now says it first will erect a plant that uses much smaller sheets of glass.

Such factories typically are much smaller and less-expensive than the sort of plant Foxconn originally planned, industry observers say.

The shift was first reported in May by Japan-based Nikkei Asian Review, in a story citing industry sources, and then by Milwaukee publication BizTimes last week following an interview with Foxconn executive Louis Woo. A Foxconn spokesman confirmed the BizTimes report.

I love it. Trump and Scott Walker were schlonged and it will take 25 years to pay for the giveaways they gave FoxConn.
