We should start a draft now. All able bodied men and women under the age of 40 should be reporting to an induction center over the next couple of weeks for basic training.

Trumps bluster is only equal to Trumans dire warning to the Japanese prior to Nagasaki.

But Truman meant it. Thus far Trump has proven to be a lot of hyperbole and bluster. However NO OTHER U.S. President since Truman has uttered a threat such as this.

Trump will welcome worldwide condemnation if he unilaterally strikes DPRK. It would literally fracture our alliances to pieces. Guaranteed.

Yeah, what the hell, let's kill hundreds of thousands over blather from one A**hole, that'll show the world how to really be a state sponsor of terrorism.

It will be interesting to see what happens in a few hours when Kim tells Trump where to stick it and threatens to nuke the US. Trump doesn't seem fazed by being called and exposed as a liar on his "promises" so I suppose this will be no different.

I actually agree to the extent that Kim will likely retaliate with words and maybe another missile.

Here’s a scenario. It takes a couple of days to set up a rocket at a permanent launch facility. Even if NK rolled a TEL out of the woods, couple hours notice, minimum. You have to know that the US has talked scenarios to the Chinese. So, in this scenario US satellites or ground assets warn of a launch getting ready to happen, they call and alert the Chinese and they roll 15 division across the Yalu River and sweep into NK making it the latest province in China. Everyone is happy.
