Honestly though, it sounds like NK is trying to goad the US into starting the war, so that they can point to the USA as the villain who hit first.
They know that they're done if they hit first, especially since maybe not even China would go to bat for them if they proved themselves to be nothing but a liability by doing something that stupid.
My take on it is that Trump simply needs to have the mental fortitude to not take the bait.

When it becomes feasible. Only idiots (soon to be dead ones) would risk it. You would have us wait till he lobs a nuke at LA, I guess. If he has the capability and has stated that is his intent, it is beyond time to act. We have all this military for a reason, and this may be the moment.
