The problem is we have too many movie watching, video game playing arm chair sitting "generals" that have no idea just how hard it would be to get Kim Jong.

If his people show any lack of support they are killed.
Invading to take him out would be insanity and result in huge casualties.

I suppose we could call Jason Bourne and he could get it done.

Myopic isn't a new word.

It's not manly to act without thinking. It's stupid. Do not confuse the two.

Trump's not manly, he's impulsive.

Of course I care. We can both ensure that people survive life/aren't brutally murdered in wars AND want better lives for ourselves and others. They're not mutually exclusive.

You should really read history and look into why post WW2 20th century America held so much power, and why that has changed now.

The second world war decimated a lot of the world, and many international powers (such as China or India) were largely agricultural-economies/"third world" countries back then with little influence (despite their large populations).

A LOT has change in third world, whether we want to admit it or not. We're not the only kids on the block anymore...and shouting "America first!" is not going to change a single thing on this matter. We don't have the power to undo these changes - the world is MUCH bigger than us.

Time to face reality.

I could see having a missile boomer surface and send an unarmed missile across their country to get their attention. Maybe then their military would kill the fat boy and put someone in place who will calm things down.

I'm not fine with seeing a war erupt, anywhere. The planet as a whole is far too interconnected via technology and economy. We are already at a point for some time now, that when someone passes gas the wrong way in the middle east, gasoline prices spike, stock markets loose points, and people find scape goats on their opposing political spectrum.

When infrastructure starts taking damage, anywhere, the economy, and thus people, everywhere, suffer.(The shyt runs downhill scenario) Many do not recognize those facts. Cooler heads usually do.

Sometimes there is no choice other than to use force, or subjugate yourself to tyranny. If that comes to pass, the question posed by the OP might be better asked after the fact. Attitudes have a way of changing when reality comes home to roost. And the necessity of the foregoing action is better in focus.

Sadly, that's just the way it is.
