The explanation is simple. Every state that's run by liberals is in the toilet. Period.
Illinois, New York, and California are perfect examples.
How is California in the toilet? I was just there recently and it seems to be doing pretty good...jobs, thriving economy, etc. I didn't see any part that was "in the toilet". Perhaps you'd like to point out specifically which parts are "in the toilet" and why?
