Trump promised he would be a master negotiator and get stuff done. He failed to negotiate an Obamacare replacement among members of his own party. Obama needed 60 votes and got it done. All Trump needed was 50 and he still failed.

The mess we are in! What a mess. How are we going to get out of it unless we get jobs?

Yadda yadda, you hate Trump... That's really all you have to say.

1M fewer people on food stamps, participation rate ticked up, 4.3% unemployment: We are at full employment, so what's the problem?

I want Trump to succeed. But he has to want to succeed. He can't succeed while playing 17 consecutive days of golf while the economy sinks underwater.

It's like the kid who refuses to put down the video game controller.

I'm really fearful we might end up in the same place we did the last time we had a Republican president.

your guess would be wrong, maybe you should check the BLS numbers before posting.

How are we going to make it great again when job growth is slowing down?

participation rates are very low. They have been dropping for a decade or two, not blaming Trump Obama or Bush, it is a hard nut to crack.

We are at about 6-9% unemployment now using the full bls numbers and leaving wiggle room to avoid arguing the point. if we get to a real 5% my guess is we will see the participation rate start to increase

I want Trump to do well, but his approval rating is in the toilet, and that's partly because of weak economic growth. He's been weak on the economy, weak on negotiating healthcare, and now he's proving to be weak on North Korea.

I was talking to a nice family from the Midwest earlier this week. They voted for Trump, but they said he is weak, so they won't be voting for him again. They said that lots of other people in their small town feel the same way.
