Nah, more like politicians. Replace the word videos with votes and they might as well be Senators, Congressmen and so forth.

I cant tell by the article what the reason is for the act by google/youtube, youtube seems to allow anyone to monetize their videos
You mean like when they falsely accused Marco Rubio of having a secret gay lover because he wore Prada shoes?

A friend of mine posts YouTube videos about life in China (nonpolitical) and he recently got demonetized as well. I think it's a growing trend. YouTube probably thinks they pay out too much money, and with Patreon, they likely don't think they need to pay much anymore. I'm guessing Diamond and Silk are on Patreon, and if not, they should be. That's the new source of income for youtubers.

So businesses should be allowed to deny service to gays and blacks if they want to but not moderate their own servers? Trying to clarify your position here.

In a nutshell it is simply Hypocrisy, they cherry pick when they believe in free speak and individual rights.

I'm hoping you aren't actually a US citizen which would explain why you think free speech applies to private business....but I doubt that's the case.

I mean seriously, it's not like there are one or two people making this blunder....we have probably a dozen or more posters here that scream free speech and apparently have no clue what that actually means.
