I'd rather be under government rule than anarchy.

I've never been that afraid, nor do I plan to be.

I don't need to re read it. You are comparing something rational to something irrational. How is that a contest? If you want to find out where people really stand, force a choice between the irrational and the irrational.

Finally you admitted your mistake.

That "gang" already exists, it's called the Republican party, and it's led by somebody, with weird hair, who is right out of a mad max movie. You should check it out.

If it came to "pure anarchy", good people can still organize, by choice, to protect against anyone else. That's sort of, almost, kind of what governments are, since each government operates in a state of anarchy with each other...

BUT a "state" or "the government" as we refer to it, is not a group that you choose to join voluntarily. It's essentially if one of those gangs you mentioned controlled an entire portion of the earth and anyone within their territory had to obey them.

That's what a King used to be, and it's only become slightly more sophisticated since then, where the King's power is spread out to different branches, and people are given candidates to elect. Doesn't make them in charge, as many think ("we are the government") but you're allowed to suggest which person should be the face of the gang.

Send me a picture of yourself. I highly doubt there's a GQ model behind that computer screen

If my options were total anarchy and total government, I'd take total anarchy.

That said, I'm satisfied with the republic we have.
