With most voters voting for Hillary I can see why he would be worried about that. Fortunately the US has the electoral college to keep the US from becoming like North Korea.

So you're saying NYC, and L.A. are more like North Korea than the rest of the country? I agree.
We're becoming a country where self-riotous pigs think any slimy joke is funny. He thought it was so cool to make fun of Trump & Putin doctoring a photo of Putin with Trump giving him a bj. He thought it was so hilarious. Keep it up with the tasteless jokes and over-the-top rhetoric--and then don't wonder why more independents (and even some democrats) start to lean to the right.

START to lean to the right? If you want a "self-riotous pig" with "over-the-top rhetoric," I give you the following from today's Charlottesville protests. Maher was timid by comparison - he just got the country wrong. It's actually Nazi Germany:
I don't think the US is becoming like NK, but Trump is a lot like Kim Jong Un! Imagine Trump unleashed and without the other branches of government for checks and balances!
Trump inherited this bad situation which was created by Bill Clinton (for starters) and allowed to continue to develop by Barack Obama who did nothing but issue meaningless "warnings;" "if" statements with no "else" statements. He had no intention of backing up his words with actions.
So, now we have a N. Korea with ICBM's and our intelligence seems to indicate that they have indeed developed miniaturized nuclear warheads. They are now pose an existential threat which cannot be ignored, and can not be dealt with by "negotiations," which have never worked in the past. It is far beyond that point, especially when this nut case (and he is a real "nut case") says he will attack Guam, which is U.S. territory.
Trumps military advisers and others (John Bolton, Oliver North) are fully in agreement with Trumps statements thus far, and Secretary of Defense, Jim Mattis used even stronger language than Trump. Even Gen. John Kelly is on board. The Administration is speaking with one voice on this situation.
This is not a situation of Trump's making, but a situation that Obama let fester and grow to this point.
Sadly there are no checks and balances right now, the republicans have all the branches of the government including the supreme court. And they the republicans kiss Trump’s ring and bow at his feet. The republicans own Trump or should I say Trump owns the republicans. Ya’ have to lose all respect for most of them and how they react to Trump.
Oh, please! How melodramatic.
If Obama had not allowed things to reach this point, and Bill Clinton had not provided him with the nuclear capability, we wouldn't be here.
If Trump "own[ed] the Republicans," we would have had Obamacare repeal and tax cuts done by now.
I have lost all respect for Democrats (Progressives) who are all working in concert to not just destroy this President, but to destroy this country (Progressivism). That's why they hate Trump, because he is getting in the way of their plan, and rolling it back decades.

Just one comment to this ridiculous thread and your comment above, you seem to have forgotten that there was a President in between Clinton and Obama, a Republican President. Cherry picking does not suit you, or maybe it does..........
