Perceived racism from other groups is REACTION to white hate. White ppl started when they pillaged and raped the Americas.
People of all different races have pillaged and raped sovereign nations and people. Mongols, Japanese, Africans, etc. They all have engaged in hostile, brutal and merciless land grabs in the past.
Don't forget, it was African warlords who usually sold Africans into slavery. They often sold prisoners of war off as slaves in exchange for guns, so they could kill other Africans. And even before that, whites were taken and used as slaves throughout history.
The Americas were conquered in the pursuit of wealth and fertile land, not because of racism. Please stop making stuff up/revising history to suit your narrative.

Charlottesville, VA has a long history of racism. The "Deep South" had slavery. The Civil War led to a battle in the area. One of the "Yankee officers" was none other than the genocidally-racist Custer who led "Custer's Charge" near Charlottesville, VA. He often bragged about his victories against Confederates in the Civil War and boasted about not having scars despite having many horses shot out from under him. But that aura of invincibility and white supremacy ended for him in 1876.
Everyone I have heard, even on right leaning sources like Fox, says the alt-right started the trouble. These are not "southerners" protesting the loss of heritage. They are out of state militant right wing extremists who came to make trouble and commit acts of violence against the people of Charlottesville who came out to show their city is not going to tolerate hate.
None of this chaos would have happened had the democrat governor mcauliffe not declared a "state of emergency" and let the people march. a state of emergency was called to block the right of the marchers to assemble and to censor free speech

African kingdoms, yes because Africa did had them, often took captives as slaves during warfare. You can add some context to it.
And the Irish were not slaves. That's been settled by actual historians.
