The #1 priority for all governments, is economic-growth. Not because it is beneficial to the common people, but because it is beneficial to the government.
Economic-growth means more money. More money means more power. And if you want to defend your nation against the other nations of the world, you must become as powerful as possible.
The United States rules the world for only one reason, we are the richest and most technologically-advanced nation on Earth. Our goal is to stay that way at all costs. The people simply do not matter. Not here, and not anywhere else.
The only thing that can defeat power, is a greater power. The only thing power wants, is more power. How then do you defeat power?
Just white supremacy? Will you make a post where you openly denounce any and all supremacist groups? Will you openly denounce BLM, the black panthers, La Raza?
Black Lives Matter is not a supremacy group. White people belong to that group too. LaRaza, I can't speak on.
We have black history MONTH. We have Hispanic history MONTH. We have parades with transvestites and men who have sex in their rectums. But white people (for whatever reason) want to have a parade, and the government and minorities go nuts! White genicide is alive and well in almost every country. We have rights too
So let's see the blacks and the democrats can riot all they want, kill people, burn down cities and buildings shout out all kinds of malicious language but the whites do the same thing and it's somehow intolerable and hateful, seriously?

Trump ramped up the hate throughout his campaign, and now claims that "many sides" are responsible for this nightmare. The man has no cojones. He knows very well which side is responsible.

As usual, however, Trump cult members don't think that Trump needs to call out White Supremacy, or David Duke, in particular, for being the source of the hate. Typical Republican: can't face their own illnesses, but can't stop blubbering about how "hateful" "the left" is. If this so-called "rally" had happened under Obama, the right wing would be up in arms whining about how he was responsible for it. But when it happens under their Great White Idiot Hope, crickets.
Not just white history, but history. They are trying to whitewash American History, or to make the Civil War into something it wasn't, to further vilify the south, as to pretend the only issue involved was slavery.
I understand why they are doing it, insofar as the existence of a Robert E. Lee statue is not beneficial to the Federal government. It is a rallying cry for secession/independence/decentralization. And our government wants to go in exactly the opposite direction. Centralization, and eventually a completely globalized system.
I think that, painting all defenders of Robert E. Lee's statue as white nationalists is irresponsible. That isn't to say that there aren't white-nationalists in the crowd, or that the most-violent protesters aren't white-nationalists. It is useful as to vilify and marginalize anyone who opposes the narrative. Make them appear evil, and anti-American, then they become irrelevant.
Well someone should ask them what they think they are, because the media has portrayed this group as White Nationalists.
Didn't take long for the usual rabid liberals to be totally wrong, again, did it? Will they come back and admit they were wrong (again)? Doubtful.
