The media needs to be held accountable for their desire of violence in order to sell advertising.

I'm not saying there should be government sanctions, I'm saying they should be constantly denounced for their actions.

True. But is it only to sell advertising? Or is it to further an agenda? I lean towards the latter.

Of course the media wants violence, because it is good for ratings. Even if they have to make stuff up, like they are doing. What did Hearst say?

Quote:
When Hearst Artist Frederic Remington, cabled from Cuba in 1897 that "there will be no war," William Randolph Hearst cabled back: "You furnish the pictures and I'll furnish the war."
Our media is furnishing the race war in the U.S. right now.

The Press: I'll Furnish the War - TIME

How is the media causing violence? And is it only left-wing media or also right-wing media like Infowars and Storm Front?

So you believe most Americans are driven by the media - how come you all are exempt from this brainwashing.

People blame the media but they want it. i haven't seen any TV -- all online -- different sites -- Twitter feeds not from MSM.

I don't think I'm unique.

No good news person would want a peaceful world.

It's the job of the "media" to create and fabricate news if needed.

Well then saying that they like it because they report on it is rather silly... Kind of like saying funeral home directors love it when people die.
