Trump's rhetoric at his rallies, on the campaign trail, and now in the WH (with his tweeting duds of fingers) has done more damage to our unity as a nation than any previous President in an entire generation.
What do you all expect when you have someone so toxic in the WH? Who chronically and pathologically lies at will and basically says whatever he wants to say (or says whatever he thinks his supporters will like most)?
It would be one thing if most of the things he says were even true - but MOST of the stuff he farts/poops from his mouth is not true at all. It is sickening - I have the urge to vomit when I hear him speak. It's becoming that visceral.
It is no accident that this is all happening now, and didn't happen years ago under Obama, Bush, Clinton or Bush Sr.
These events ARE NOT a coincidence!! There is a DIRECT cause-and-effect relationship between this nonsense and Trump.
The fact that so many see it as someone else's fault is just more evidence for how cut off from reality you people seem to be.
Why doesn't anyone want to acknowledge that Obama was more white by nurture than black? He's 50% white by nature. I know you all must go by the one drop rule but jeez. I don't know why you expect him to magically fix hundreds of years of conflict.
Racism didn't get worse, the eyes of the world got better. Everyone has a video camera in their pockets, the streets are full of surveillance video. People can't hide like they used to.
A video or article, more concerned with shocking viewers into clicking/liking/etc, and less concerned with accuracy or context, becomes the stereotype people apply to strangers and colleagues who represent the social identity of the perpetrators in the article/video. The spread of information is uncontrolled and horribly verified, and it's ruining society like Babel. That's not what I'd call "better eyes." We're exposed to more information than ever, without the ability to process it responsibly.

Interesting I've been on this forum for a while now and all though the eight years Obama was in office.
I've seen more division since Trump came in office then I ever have with Obama. That includes the media with it. Nothing new though it must be SOP when a new president comes into office. When things keep getting worse trump and his loyalist will have no one left to blame.

Division has been growing in politics for a while now (especially since the 90's, accelerated with Bush Jr. and Obama) - but anyone that thinks Trump isn't mostly responsible for the insanity that we've been seeing over the last few months is 100% delusional.

I hate to say this, but you are right. I have said it for years. You never felt he had anything but sympathy for blacks against whites regardless of the situation.
Most of you hard core Alt Right, KKK, Neo_Nazi and other such types of Far RIGHT WINGER are nothing more than a mass of "non responsible bigots" who take no responsibility for the ignorance they promote, because their generalized ignorance feeds a growing inferiority complex which has them pushing a self delusion of superiority as if they are something they are not. They rush out to hoard guns, because they live like the mental weaklings they are, who think brute conduct is the general manner, when truth is, it makes them nothing but closer to being animalistic, because they can't think deep enough to use their brains and become people who learn the value of cooperation and communication with general society as a whole.
This site has proven over and over that many of such types can't digest a multi-variable composition even if it was two paragraphs that discussed two or more things. Many have continually proven how they get lost, then their anguish at what they don't understand, overtake them. and start asking... "what's the point" as in, wondering why you did not get a on syllable answer.
They come on here writing as if one is either hard core ignorant or was trapped in a box for 8 yrs, and the past 7 months. Because for 8 yrs, you supported "your right wing" and "tea party" Republican Congressional people, making a "pledge not to do their job, as in shining a light on their racist bigotry", rather than honor their oath and do their job. We watched them 10 yrs ago, Crash the American Economy and tried to fleece our Allies and Trading Partners, that's after de-stabilizing the entire Middle East.
Many of you are prime examples of what 100's of yrs produced of your type, when they did not get to have the gain from owning slaves to do the work... and what was produced by such types is generational poverty, of which now many of you whine about being left behind, because Mr. Rich and Wealthy White Industrialist did not take care of you"... yet you are too unaware to realize, you shafted yourself, by voting against the same thing many people fought for, which was Unions, and Workplace Benefits and Progressive Pay....
You Against Unions and Labor Benefits, because you detested the thought to minorities and women getting the benefits and the pay, and in turn... you stuck a hot poker in your own self, all in the course of your vile mentality trying to deny something to others, and end up with the results of your denials consuming you.
You've been doing the same thing for 100's of years and have not figured it out yet. Your white skin did not gain you anything, but the ignorance your consumption with it left you with... which is a continual agitated self, still impoverished as your ancestors were. And you can't wake up and get over yourself, so all you do is groom another generation to be more ignorant than the ones before them.
Trump got something for you, and they showed you once but still you are too ignorant to see it, as they showed you a health plan, that assures that you die of a horrible death, and next they will take away the rest of the public benefits and watch you waste away, all the whiles yelling about how your white skin makes you superior.... all the while you kids are being sucked up in a pill popping frenzy, wondering why they never can get out of the same rut, their ancestors put them in, by chasing the lust of their own skin, into greater and greater destitution and never knowing the difference that they are their own worst enemy. Keep worshiping the wealthy, and they are going to keep giving you what they have always given you.... is hard labor until you body breaks down, and then tell you want they always told you. "we got nothing for you", and you can't work anymore, so why do they have need to expend any money on you.
Still you can't wait to give the wealthy another tax break, so they can cut off the rest of your life line.
That's the generational inbred grooming of a SERF..... moving to America did not take that out of many, they just came here and started a whole new cycle of racist stupidity.
