Yes, everyone has the right gather. These people gathered. Their rights were not violated. But if their viewpoints and their causes are repugnant to the businesses that they work for, the business can decide not to employ them. Free speech is here, you can say what you want without fear of going to jail or being shot by your government. But it has consequences. Free speech does not mean you don't suffer the consequences. Could be from friends, employers, your church, etc.
Honestly, white supremacy is not something I support. I think it's horrible. White supremacy is not a political viewpoint. It's believing you are better than any other "race" and wanting to put down other people because of their DNA. What normal/sane business wants an employee like that?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
So please show us where you took up for Colin kaepernick. You must be against the NFL firing him right?
You creating apples and oranges comparisons. He was using his employer, the NFL, as a public platform to express his views. I never said anyone should have completely free speech to do anything while on the clock to perform their job or at the worksite.
LOL, No. Find it funny that a republican such as yourself is against the first amendment. Are you Russian instead???
Keep rolling your eyes, because you are dead wrong. You don't have "freedom of speech" at your job. That's a private company. There is no 1st Amendment rights at work. Freedom of Speech protects you ONLY from the government, NOT your employer.
The employer has every right to fire who they want. That's not against anyones rights. It is you who does not understand rights.

NFL didn't fire him it's a money thing and if you don't think so you're ignorant of how the NFL works.CK can do whatever he wants and say what ever he wants but on his privet time. The NFL has a collective bargaining agreement with the players and they gave the Commissioner a broad range of power and he can penalize anyone for conduct detrimental to the NFL ......all by himself. But that isn't what happen to CK....he is a average QB who has not played well ,all NFL owners want to make money .CK isn't good enough to put up with the grief ,aggravation and crap from all the bad and negative press,it's money don't fool yourself ,CK thought he could blackmail (pun there) his way back on to an NFL team ....and he still might but not yet.

Read my post's I have been saying that for months!
Religion is a protected status in this country, racism is not.
Both employees are of course welcome to pursue wrongful termination suits if they think their rights have been violated.
So you are saying the church or any other employer can fire the employee for appearing at the Pro Choice rally correct?
Eeps. Had to edit to change to pro choice. sorry.
