There could potentially be 4 parties in this country, but it will never happen because if the GOP splits first, then Democrats will easily win and vice versa...

Warren
Clinton
Romney
Cruz

An appeal to sky gods. Don't expect a reply.

As for the GOP, it is over. I say good riddance to it.

The Dem "big tent" party too will need to split as it develops into a fully identitarian (tribal) party. Operating a society based on victim points will be ineffective when all are victims.

I'm down with that, too.

Our two-party systems sucks.

Hence why the libertarian party couldn't pick up steam this last election (and also because Gary Johnson was too soft).

Rand Paul instead Romney. Would rather Romney than Cruz.

This is for California right? I'm all for it. Time to take the California Democrats down.
I was surprised to hear that Pete Wilson supported the cap and trade.

A Tea Party won't take California Dems down.
A Republican candidate in California can't win without moderate Dem and independent votes and Tim Donnelly will not get those votes.

These guys are part of the wing of the California GOP who bear a good deal to do with its decided minority fate, who reflect its image as the party of white males living in rural areas and small towns, in a state in which the majority is not white, not male, and not rural. No doubt these guys would quickly become the dominant political force in Jefferson, but in California right now they won't make much of an impact.
