Trump Accuses Amazon of Doing 'Great Damage' to Retailers - NBC News

Typical hypocrisy from Trump. Attacks Amazon while selling stuff on Amazon.

We all know he's pissed at the WaPo for their coverage and trying to take it out on Jeff Bezos. Maybe Bezos will refuse to sell Ivanka's shoes or Trump's book. Trump would squeal like a pig about that.

When he began his infamous encounter with the press yesterday, he started out talking about trade and he emphasized manufacturing IN America. The press missed an opportunity to point out that HIS products and Ivanka's products were and continue to be manufactured overseas.

If the press HAD pointed it out during that presser, Trump's head would probably have exploded - his BP was high enough at he time!

All the more reason to do so.

I agree, they should've pressed him in it. The media needs to get tougher w/their questions.

Trump couldn't possibly expect to win ANY argument here....
Tax avoidance
Lyin' and corrupt Donald needs to release his tax forms to show he's golden there. Otherwise, Amazon could just say "No, we're also fine there" without even a straight face
.
Hurting small businesses
He needs to pay the contractors he stiffed throughout various building projects, including those at Atlantic City for his casinos and other properties. If you agree to a rate, in writing, but then reneg and only offer 20 to 25 cents on the dollar, do you really have ANY ground, let alone the high ground?
.
Politics
He deems the Washington Post as fake news, so he'll use this avenue to lash out at it
.
General jealousy
He's had to declare bankruptcy several times where as Jeff Bezos managed to build a successful online retailer while creating Amazon Web Services, something used the world over.

Last year Trump met with Alibaba's CEO (Alibaba is the Chinese Amazon) and crowed about Alibaba bringing 1 million jobs to the US. Most of those "jobs" though would be the equivalent of Amazon Marketplace sellers.

They would be dumb not to sell on Amazon.

And amazon does basically suck. Its business, I get it. They are the current wal mart.

It is called experience. Mr. Trump and family simply ignore such questions, and there is no reason to have thought that he would have replied to a new question on where his merchandise is made.

I have mentioned this before, and I shall do so again: I find it curious that Mr. Trump, whom has frequently claimed (as I believe) that he has never drunk alcohol, due to the example set by his late, elder alcoholic brother, would, despite said sad family history, sell Trump brand alcohol (vodka and wine, that I know of).

It simply seems curious to me. Indeed, one may presume that Mr. Trump has never tasted his alcoholic wares.
