Slavery has permeated human history (& still lingers), but only the White Western World is demonized by the Left for slavery's historical practice.

But a guy who tries to be clever referring to himself as a Gringo, is likely already under the spell of the Left's selective, hypocritical demonization. But (respectfully) at least your handle admits you're Old, and likely out of touch with how the Left has decronstructed the West. /peace

Trumplings...

Are separate subjects
Did Mohammed have the slaves answer yes
Does Islamic law liberate slaves? Answer no
Because the slaves in Islamic law is one of the most important legislation
Especially in marriage
Because the man has the right to own four women at once and also at the same time have sex with women slaves without a marriage contract

Muhammad also has the right to do so

But Christ's teachings are equality and rejection of slavery
The Europeans, however, did not recognize the slaves after the spread of Christianity in Europe
In America, however, the need for workers was the reason for the importation of slaves, especially from African Islamic countries
But they enjoyed freedom
President Obama is among those
Obama is free
And president to America

The closing of mosques
I think it should be monitored and the curriculum monitored
And not to permit the construction of new mosques
But its administration must be from the state and not from the Muslims
The most important is to abolish all the teachings of murder and hatred from the Koran so that the child can not learn

So, when do we rename The WHITE House? Surely this has to be on somebody's To-Do-List.

Lee's statue is on public property and owned by the public.

Mosques are on private property and owned privately.

Therein lies the difference.

Yes Muhammed's historical record suggests he owned slaves, raped, conquered, etc...if my hometown had a statue on public property - shouldn't I have the right to seek it being taken down? If I can convince enough people shouldn't we peacefully through the democratic process take it down?

We'll need to do likewise for the Christian Bible. By the way, can you tell us any passages in the Q'uran that speak to murder and hatred? Would be nice to know if in fact any of that exists in the Q'uran.

show me where in the new testament that slavery was even discussed. so far as i know there was no talk of slavery, or even abolishing it in the new testament.

the old testament does have passages about slavery, including the requirement of compensation to the slave, and contracts that had a termination date as well, among other things.

Don't know the bible very well, do you?

"Ephesians 6:5-9: "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him."

What the New Testament says about slavery

But you're right that no one in the new testament, including jesus, says that slavery should be abolished. For them, it was just the way of the world.
