The best thing for the left is Trump sticking around as long as possible. If Trump leaves soon the left will celebrate for a bit but the sobering reality of a Pence as POTUS and a united GOP is bad news for the democrats.
Assuming he is unable to control his destructive tendencies, I would say you are probably correct from a purely partisan left standpoint.
However I believe that chaotic narcissist type personalities are a danger in positions of extreme power for everyone that goes beyond the spats of your normal everyday left and right politics as usual.

So rich CEO's are more interested in virtue signaling than trying to help the American people
A CEO's purpose is to increase the financial profits of their corporation and that corporations shareholders. And when a corporation is connected to disliked or controversial groups it risks alienating both its customers and investors. (A real CEO will run away from anything that could alienate their corporations customers or investors.)

The things Trump was saying were disgusting.
I predict that when Trump falls, his family members will distance themselves from him.
Complete and total failure. The people that are publicly cheering him now are David Duke and his ilk.
Wow..
Total failure of leadership. Complete, total, failure.
