Maybe along party lines. Let the Democrats have their states and republicans and right wingers have ours. "The American Union" has become something like the soviet union or the European union. We are an enormous country, there are counties in america as big as european nations. Of course there is alot of division within the states as well but people can move to the state they prefer

Not much hatred in regular life in cities and towns throughout the USA. It's just the Charlottesville hate rally that caused an uproar. The uproar likely would have calmed down after the first day or two , but Trump fanned the fire and continues to fan the fire and this made it much worse.
I would expect a paid poster from Russia to suggest such political discourse in the USA. Suggesting the USA break apart would be Putin's biggest dream.

America is enormous , we would accomplish alot more as a nation if we split up.
Our cities are horrible ,terrible mass transit, you go to asia and its amazing. japan, singapore. low crime, exciting cities, state of the art mass transit, much better science and math education, much more futuristic.

This is comical. The red states would be still be one of the most powerful militaries on the planet, its not like russia would gain anything from us being more efficient as a nation. Liberal and right wingers are just too different and its getting worse, blue counties and red counties could form something new.we are an enormous nation LA county alone is bigger than most nations
Just think of what we could accomplish if conservatives had their own country and the liberals had theirs. Any bets on which country would be more successful?
