You know what is funny is that even though his religious convictions kept Dr. King from endorsing homosexuality publicly at the time he was a advocate for rights of all including gays.

St. Peter - the first pope - was against gay marriage and that's all his life is known for; and yes, all statues and churches built in his honor should be torn down because - you know 32 AD is exactly like today.

Although he was sympathetic towards gays he always came down on the side of scripture. Since the liberals are all of a sudden so outraged over historical monuments maybe they'll topple MLK's too?
I say yes because when I hear the name MLK all I associate with that is violence. So tear down the symbol of violence.
