Doesn't change anything. I am against slavery. We live for today and learn from the past. Should we tear down the rival University statue that we all hate in my city ??

these statues have been around for 100 years and now everyone is going crazy over them.just accept it, we had slavery, many countries had it.

Removing and defacing the statues will change nothing but for the people removing/defacing- it makes them feel good for awhile. They can tell their kids in a few decades that they were the one that destroyed a one hundred year old statue and felt good about it.

How about we place General Sherman statutes all over Georgia. For historical purposes. No reason for the people of Georgia to get offended right
