Not what I said. Read again. It isn't a question of whether I agree with someone. It's a question of whether they approach a topic in a logical way. Most of the time, when celebrities talk about important issues they approach the topic emotionally, with platitudes, or hysterically. I have very little respect for an adult who can't argue or debate more effectively than my 10 year old.

Hmm, honestly it isn't just celebrities. I've met a lot of people (including some on CD) who try to explain their views by getting emotional. They irritate me as well.

I'm not really interested in a discussion in which the other party's position is "Since you disagree with me, you are a racist." That discussion has been happening for years, especially here on C-D. The left has no interest in real progress on racial relations. They need division which is why they've been engaged in identity politics for 30+ years.
