It's obvious whoever is behind this rift is succeeding, as they are forcing us all to take a side.

So if this continues escalating as rapidly as it has been, who will come out the victor? Left? Right? Neither? Someone else? Why?

I'm sure the conservatives will be quick to tell us of their many guns.

Everybody loses when either side goes violent. Outside of that, so far the Left controls the media and education so they have a huge advantage but the right currently controls governmental power. I say the Left has the overall advantage except as in the current situation where the right controls the House, Senate, Presidency, Supreme Court, and most state legislatures and Governors.

It all depends on how gullible people remain. If enough people continue to fall for the myth that the left cares about the interests of the common man the left will win. If enough people wake up and realize that the left wants to control them, the right will win.

Either way, we're probably screwed unless someone comes along who can actually be a uniter.

The Left will trample the right, simply because they have one huge ally; the media. As Jim Morrison said, "Whoever controls the media, controls the mind". But who will win? There are no winners. The "United" states are being torn apart. We all lose.

In the long run the left always wins. Name one instance where they didn't. They have their methodology down to a science and it works every time it is tried. We can only hope to fend it off in our own lifetimes, not long term. I give America credit for resisting it as long as we have though. An example of our Exceptionalism.
