No way. Pence is a far more articulate person who doesn't go opening his big, undisciplined mouth at the slightest of provocations. So the press will be better with him, and he better with the press.
Sadly he has proven to be another liar, so I'm not comfortable with him either, but at least I don't think he will have the hair-brained Anti-American Robert Mercer/Steve Bannon agenda!

After Trump, my standards are so low that as long as the President isn't pro-Nazi, as long as he doesn't hire his whole family, and as long as he can speak in legible English, he'll get the benefit of the doubt.

I think Trump would resign. He is discouraged, the job is tough and he is not getting any younger.
He needs to be assured that he will not be prosecuted for any of his many crimes. It's a real dilemma, he can't protect himself and family while he is out of office.

I think it is so unlikely he will leave before his term is up it is almost a waste of time talking about it. We were with friends last night, have a few drinks and the subject came up, The thought of his resigning or being impeached seemed pretty unlikely to most of them as well. I know, we can't really depend on our gut feeling when it comes to Trump, but it isn't his nature to quit. Of course his health could start to fail and it would be different. Now if he does resign I would be more than happy to see Pence there and watch the libs and the MSM go nuts!!!!
