yea, he is gonna be pretty much hated anywhere intelligent, artistic or otherwise talented people congregate. His base does not care that he is hated by these people because many of them are anti-social themselves and only associate with people in their own tribe: White, rural, poor, uneducated.
When HAVEN'T they featured people from the movie, Broadway and music industries???? I have a number of the KCH ceremonies on tape, and those industries have been represented at Every. Single. One.
And I would hardly consider people like Pete Seeger, Sidney Poitier, Judith Jamison, Harry Belafonte, Stevie Wonder, Sean Connory, Victor Borge, Sammy Davis Jr., Rita Moreno, Bob Dylan, James Cagney, Johnny Cash, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Cary Grant, Count Basie or Gene Kelly (to name just a few of the past Honorees), to be "trash." They found their natural talent, and elevated it to the point where it touched and moved the public.
OH, some just have to make baseless, critical remarks in order to justify the position of adulation and loyalty to their king. It's amusing how every one had to tear down the event, the culture, the talent being honored and famous audience members. Though if the situation had been reversed and involving those they like, they would be singing a different tune.

Thank you. You've listed just a few of the most wonderful talent we've seen in our lifetimes. Anyone who calls such people trash is terribly wrong or merely trolling. Hell, Gene Kelly is a national treasure, how on earth can anyone not appreciate the marvelous talent he possessed, not to mention all the others.
Then again, fascist darling Ted Nugent will never stand on that stage to receive Kennedy Center Honors, or any honors unless it's the white trash awards.

There has been absolutely no evidence presented to back up Trump's lies about millions of illegal votes cast.
The guy claiming to have the voter fraud app has disappeared. Months ago, he claimed he had a list of people who had voted illegally that he would present within a week or so as soon as the names were verified.
So far, nada.
In any case, Trump was smart to skip the Kennedy Center Honors.
