No one was trying to stamp out their free speech. The racists were welcomed to come. The majority of them chickened out because there were too many other people who were also exercising their right to free speech.
I guess when they were told they had to leave their torches and guns behind they suddenly remembered they had other things to do.

Actually, we just had 30-40,000 peaceful protestors scare the sheets off of the rally planners. It's too bad they are such scaredy-cats. The police would have protected them from those big, bad, peaceful Bostonians who were out exercising their free speech.
