Trump is resigning just like Hillary is still winning.

"It's still happening."

True he probably will, but the odds are he will have already been out of office for many years by then, he would just not be able to admit it

I may as well link to some of my prior statements, so the mean-spirited won't think I am a 'Johnny come lately' predictor:

//www.city-data.com/forum/elect...t-if-he-3.html

From July 2016:

"I had opined, in another thread last fall, that I considered it possible that, if Donald John Trump prevails this coming November, he would resign after two years. As such, I said I would be very interested in his VP pick.

Nothing herein does not deflect me from that opinion. I doubt that Mr. Trump would deny himself the prize of the Presidency, but his 'wink wink' remarks do give some slight support to my prediction of his quitting after two years, saying that he had done all he can do."

From November 2015, when I still planned on voting for Mr. Trump:

//www.city-data.com/forum/elect...esident-3.html

"I actually do consider the Marchioness Trump to be a 'politician'. He is, after all, running for political office.

Now, he is not a 'career' politician.

Anyway, should the Marchioness win the presidency (and I still plan on voting for him), I suspect he will have some difficulties in dealing with Congress and the state governors. However, he will surely have more of a 'political honeymoon' than President Obama had (who had, well, none).

I also still think that, if elected, the Marchioness will resign after two years. Hence my speculation in early October that he will chose Rafael Edward Cruz (born in Canada) to be his Vice President. Of course, if Rafael Edward Cruz is selected by the Marchioness, I may have to vote Hillary Rodham Clinton, much as I do not trust her. However, I actually trust her a little more than Rafael Edward Cruz, whom I believe to be a demagogue in the worse sense of the word."

Remembering Monica Lewinsky, I am not going to trust any report stating that the President is about to resign. However, I can't wait to see the reaction from the Trump cult if it were to happen. A resignation is not something that could pinned on Democrats or the liberal media.

Predicting a Trump resignation isn't exactly going out on a limb, its statistically probably the equivalent of calling heads or tails in a coin flip. Doesn't take any special knowledge or insight.

The left has pretty much taken trump out with distraction (russians, statues, etc) and disinformation. I suggest this is part of the same effort to marginalize his administration.

there's a better chance they'll change the Constitution to allow Trump to serve a third term than him resigning from office.

Yeah, really. His prognostications are about as accurate as Harold Camping's.
