Well, Mercer and Bannon seem to be defining themselves--But Richard Spencer, who is widely credited with coining the term 'alt/right' is an avowed White separatist/White nationalist. Are those synonyms for White Supremacy?
Bannon has stated his mission many times as being nationalist and anti-globalist.
The lines are blurry between the right wing of the Republican party, Conservatives in general and the alt/right.
I guess we just wait and see--the one thing I know is that not all people on the right are racist--and portraying them as such helps no-one.

I don't think the "right" portion of "Alt-right" includes what is typically called the right wing versus the left wing.
Certainly not all right wing are racists and by no means are all right wingers Alt-right.
However, it does appear to me that all Alt-right must be white supremacists, anti-gay, anti-Jewish, etc otherwise they are known as "cucks".

I think the Secret Service must be collectively be losing a lot of sleep over this.
It is one thing to protect POTUS from the radical fringe groups and another level to protect POTUS if he is seen to have betrayed the radical group.
I am beginning to sense Breitbart and Bannon are starting to call POTUS a traitor to their cause.
This is in part why my view of Trump has finally risen lately. Trump is finally starting to declare himself independent of this movement.
