As such, I guess one must examine the economy since 1970. I recall very high inflation in the mid 1970s (thanks to OPEC), as well as a roaring economy under Reagan (in part thanks to cutting the very high personal income tax rate), etc.
More and tougher regulations now, so no you're wrong again.
Jobs are only one factor---I suggest that there may be others..like a clean environment and safe working conditions..that are also a social benefit.
Proof is in the pudding..and those States that are using renewable energy...and have strict regulations..seem to be doing better..than those States that use coal.
You base it on one data point and don't look into other factors like that states resources? Why are in this discussion when it's over your head?
Sigh... You have to pay people to enforce the regulations and companies loose money when they have to buy equipment to lessen the pollution. How in the world do you not know that? Something that simple and you couldn't fathom that?
Of course, but you ignore that the money spent does not stop there...you buy equip, you support jobs. Everyone that draws a salary...spends and contributes.

ROTFLMAO!
It's never stopped you. Now has it?
Perhaps you shouldn't assume my ignorance...based on a post or two?
