On a personal note, this has hit home for me. I have walked the streets of Phoenix. Streets I have walked the last ten years and will walk again in a week.
Funny -- just read the police chief say it wasn't chaos at all. Wonder if consrevatives will complain about media making a big deal about nothing....lol.

really, were we hearing the same speech?

MYghost: so because the liberal mayor didn't want Trump there, the rally should have been cancelled. Geeze, what else negative can you think to post?

^^^^^This. The media (especially the mainstream media) will ALWAYS make everything Trump's fault. The media needs to be held accountable for broadcasting lies.

Phoenix police are getting some criticism this morning that they instigated the "violence" last night and have announced that they will conduct an investigation. Numerous reports suggest that they overreacted and gassed peaceful protesters trying to leave the event including people with kids, elderly people and disabled.

If you watched it on the Local channel 12 you would watch the whole thing onfold as it happened right in front of their building at Van Buren and 2nd. The police were very tolerant and the Antifa types came looking for a fight with bottles, rocks and gas masks: They didn't get their fight from the Trump supporters so they attacked the police. BTW the Mayor and Police chief are both Democrats.
