Multiply that by how many miles of the southern border?
I did 50 feet x 5 feet retaining wall by myself in one day. Your neighbor must be old.

Of course, if we didn't have ****** politicians, we wouldn't need a wall. But for some reason, our ******* politicians won't allow our laws to be enforced.
But that's exactly it. Until politicians get serious about enforcing common sense laws, the wall is only a cosmetic solution. People can still continue to get in as visitors/temp labor, and then get cozy and make themselves at home, and politicians will still continue to look the other way and whistle.

If anything, the wall is a good way to pacify people so that politicians can continue their shady business as usual.

What works for "Habitat for Humanities" could work for the wall. Heck, practically everyone I know and am related to would donate some time to put it up. I'm not mechanically inclined, but I'd donate time cooking for the masses...

It'd be a good way to test the viability of "pure free market".

How many times did he say Mexico was going to pay for the wall? Course I had sense enough to know
that was total BS!
Actually I don't care if my tax dollars goes towards the wall. I'd rather it go there then into the pockets of those abled body residents who don't work for a living.

There will be no wall. It's a pointless idea.

Let's do that too. But everyone can't be e-verified, & not everyone is on "the grid".

But according to the FEDs today (and half the country & lots of socialists who post on this board,) .....everyone is entitled to free meals, cheap places to live, free health care & free education for the kids for 13-18 years. (That's 10-12K per kid, per year, for 13-18 years. Jeesh).

We're 20 Trillion Dollars in debt. So build the d*mn wall too. Build all of it, or 1/2 of it or 1/3 of it & drone the rest....I don't care. But stop the flood & start building.

I don't want any tax dollars of mine going toward the wall. I will be giving my feedback to my 2 US Senators and 1 US Rep. So when they are voting on this matter, they will know how their constituents feel on the matter.

I don't want illegals entering the country. But I realize a wall isn't the proper solution and it's a waste of money. These days, 60% of illegal immigrants arrive into the US legally, then they overstay their visas and become illegals. The wall won't stop them. Most that arrive into the US via illegal border crossing in Mexico, they are getting smuggled across the border in trucks and vans and they are passing through the check points; the wall won't stop this type of entry either.

Lastly, the wall is old technology. People will be able to use rope ladders and nail-in handholds and footholds to climb the wall. You know - those little pegs used for indoor wall climbing recreation. The handholds/footholds can be kept in someone's pocked, then nailed into the wall in a few minutes for an easy climb.

Also, drones will be more common in the next few years and people will be able to get over the wall via a drone. There will be Mexican 'coyotes' that bring people across one at a time on a 2-person drone. They'll keep going back and forth hauling people over the wall.

Awesome. You can finish the border in 580 years, but it'll be only a 5 foot retaining wall
