Kasich (R) and Hickenlooper (D) are considering forming a third party for 2020. The Unity Party is the platform. An article referencing this is found here- Source: Kasich, Hickenlooper consider unity presidential ticket in 2020 - CNNPolitics..

Basic platform-
Quote:
"The idea of a joint ticket has been discussed, but not at an organizational or planning level," said the source, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity. "What they are trying to show the country is that honorable people can disagree, but you can still problem solve together. It happens in businesses and it happens in families. Why can't it happen in Washington?"
This poll is NOT to vote for Kasich and Hickenlooper, rather to gauge if you would consider a third party platform with that basic platform premise.

If you will always vote 'R' or 'D', vote your choice.

I did not see, via the link, a 'platform'.

Of course, I am always open to a third party. I voted for Jon Anderson way back when.

It's in the first post- "People can disagree but still work together for the benefit of the country".

I am not sure what you mean by that.

It would be great to see something other than the norm.

Your poll does not match your thread title. I've voted third party many times. I can not say I would support a Unity party until I knew for certain what they were running on doing.

I have voted 3rd party for a very long time, and this 'unity' tickets sounds like a great idea.

Of course anything after Trump disaster sounds like a great idea.......
