Arpaio has been a POS for decades, years before this last offense. His inhumane treatment of prisoners was notorious. I hate that he was pardoned, but at least he will never again be able to abuse those in his custody.
It's even more disgusting how the far right worships this scumbag. I've lost track of the number of whiny, snot-nosed, soft and bloated right-wing stooges who love Sheriff Joe because they've listened to one too many Faux News "documentaries" that have convinced them that "prison is really a hotel." None of these willfully ignorant stooges would last a week in an actual prison, but they slather over the prospects of really making other people suffer and get a sick thrill out of it. We'll ignore the fact that enjoying the suffering of others is, itself, a step down the path into criminal and psychopath behavior, and just have to be content to shake our heads at their petty malice, ignorance, and laughable attempts to mix constant hatred and eagerness to harm others with their equally laughable claims of being "real Americans" and "religious."
0bama took an oath to faithfully uphold the Constitution and execute the laws of the land, yet, he refused to enforce our immigration laws.

Here's a fun fact for you. The lawsuit that this arose from was filed before Obama was even elected.
A Mexican tourist filed the original suit in 2007.
But the ruling came out in December 2011, well into the Obama years in federal court. I am sure the justice department was hands off and had no influence in any of this, sure.
