Old news. They were always two sides of the same phenomenon.
Some voters don't look deep enough to see that the first guy they support is a sociailst and the second a tax-cutter. They only know that the system is not working for them and they are upset with the status quo.
You can see both as anti-republicrats and democins. Really at the end of the days there is no differance at all between Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43, and very little with Obama. This was the year of the anger vote, both for those who knew why they were angry, and those who had no idea.
Why the hell did Newsweek publish this so recently? This is old news. People have been talking about how Bernie voters are voting for Trump is they don't vote for Clinton since before the election even happened.
It's of course stupid. My vote is for whoever I vote for. It does not matter if I didn't vote for Clinton (I did, by the way); if I write in Bernie, and Donald wins, it's not my fault. I didn't vote for Donald.
