So, why shoot someone if they take it?

File an insurance claim and get a new one when you get a new house.
Because looters are the lowest of the low. Why should I file a claim for a TV that was just fine in my house/business until some opportunistic dirtbag decided to take it due to a disaster.
Why should a DIRTBAG benefit off others misery? Would you also help the dirtbag looter to carry it home?

Allowing such things just shows a severe drop in someones moral compass.

Sorry, they deserve to be returned to room temperature or at least laying in a hospital with a nice hole in them being miserable right along with those suffering from the disaster...

Why should they get to steal your stuff and walk away? What if you are poor or elderly and they are stealing what little you have. Sometimes they steal irreplaceable sentimental things. They know the risk they take when they break in, especially in a state like Texas and in a crisis situation like this. People are traumatized and on edge, who is thinking about going out and stealing...they don't value their own lives very much why should the victim?

Did you read the article at all?. It is fairly self explanatory in all fairness, as the title of the piece suggests.

Are you being fair now or just having a bad day or morning ?

Yeah, they NEED that flat screen, case of beer, case of MD 20-20,someone else's SAFE etc.. Nope, they need to be stopped right where they stand.

I can't believe the sheeple that can justify looting...

Looting is part and parcel of any opportunity driven even like riots and natural disasters.

Sometimes it's for essentials....but most of the time it's just open season like when you see people busting into salons to steal life-saving extensions\wigs and of course the first place hit is always the liquor store.

I keep my jar of peanut butter in my flat screen TV, just like any good looter would.
