Was just coming here to post about this. I know I should no longer be surprised by anything this azzclown does, but yeah, I wasn't expecting this level of self-centeredness. It truly is pathological.
I'll be the first one to criticize this President, because I think he's awful, but I took his comment to be more of a poorly worded compliment to the crowd than a boast about crowd size. I know he has a track record of boasting about crowds, so I can see why people are on edge, but I did not take it as a self-aggrandizing boast from his tone

Why don't you inform yourself and watch the short press conference with the Governor, Coast Guard, FEMA, updating the President and First Lady as well as Cabinet members Ben Carson and Dr. Tom Price and Sen. Ted Cruz. They have all bases covered by the sounds of it. You can find out how to volunteer if you live in that area. More productive than posting on a political forum complaining about FLOTUS' shoes, don't you think?

In the context of other recent tweets that came across as if he were boasting "Biggest flood EVER!" as something he seemingly wanted to take credit for, I'm afraid I cannot accept this more charitable interpretation.
And of course, the obligatory historical tweet from 2012 attacking Obama for what Trump just went out and did.
