It has, earlier in August:

"The United Nations has condemned what it called the “widespread and systematic use of excessive force” by the Venezuelan government against protestors in the run up to the controversial Constituent Assembly elections.

It also said that security forces and pro-government groups are responsible for the deaths of at least 73 demonstrateors and they were guilty of a number of human rights violations, including “torture”, “violent house raids” and the arbitrary detention of 5,000 people since April 1."

You do no the us feel to somewhere in the upper 30s (from the teens) under Obama in terms of press freedom by country due to his vicious lock up of whistle blowers (all according to the UN).

Who gives a crap what the UN thinks about anything? Most Americans I know think as Trump does about the so-called "mainstream" media.

Trump has been mocking the media ALL HIS LIFE. He never learned how to use his CELEBRITY and learn the GIFT ÔF SPIN that does not show anger and becomes a LASHING OUT passive then suddenly AGRESSIVE response.

Trump political backers think this is all over his politics and recent? Absolutely not. He walked out of interviews waaaay back if any QUESTIONABLE behavior question was asked. He did son at the opening of Trump Taj Mahal Atlantic city when he was not .... praised and crowned King of moguls and savior of the city.... we know how history went in building it to his bankruptcy since.

It went from the Jewel in his Crown .... to a blemish he wants erased from history and the media.

1990 interview at least he smiled..., not today he has such hatred now has festered.
Just BROAD SHOULDERS and SPIN can deflect he never learned.

He still looked god and SMILED and BOASTEROUS ....
Now he lost any smiles that melt to hate and anger as a new normal.

Trump never learned to be humble and nothing new in his unrelenting hatred to the media. His NEW NORMAL is now a FESTERED WAR SPLITING AMERICA even more. Even FOX NEWS IS TIREING AND NOT BOWING TO HIM.

The UN is nothing but an excuse for dictators from the third world to put on shoes and go shopping at taxpayer expense.

The UN is one of the most left-wing organizations that the modern world has ever known.

So, it figures they would say that.

Um. yeah, but Trump has condemned the media and free press over and over. Would you deny that?
The U.N. is being accurate.

They can't name one, it is only in their heads and the head of their cult leader. Trump can not handle any criticism and has to label it as fake news to try to diminish the impact of so many people asking so many questions..........it is simply Dictatorship 101.

Whenever I hear Trump cry "Fake News" I know someone has struck a nerve and he is squirming a little because the truth hurts. He knows his cult are gullible enough to parrot everything he says, so that is what they say too. Silly little rabbits, aren't they ? After all, these people voted for a con artist, so what do you expect?

I did name one and provided a link. You can't call it "fake news" until it has been proven fake.
In the case of the CNN article, it was proven fake and 3 people resigned over it.

But it did get printed.

sorry if I don't take seriously a guy named Prince Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein from Jordan criticizing Trump about free speech......this is the Prince that publicly bashed Trump during the election and basically endorsed Hillary Clinton.

he also butted in in the BREXIT vote in the U.K. with his public opinions against the exit.

That's not the job of the U.N. Human Rights Chief Counsel to get political in the internal affairs of a country.
