Darn you are slow.

If something is DESIGNED to fail, why would you work 7 years trying to make sure it happens?

If you are right, they got played BIG TIME.

Even if you don't think it's a right, making healthcare affordable to all, is the right thing to do.

These politicians push it as a right because then they can force everyone who works to pay for it and price it accordingly. A "right" as in: even if you don't work, even if you are in this country illegally, you are still entitled to get the best care possible, "Because it's your right".

First of all medicare is not the same as single payer.

For 2015 the government spent $656 billion and that covered 15% of Americans which is about 1/6 of the population.
2016 numbers aren't out yet.

So you're probably looking at close to $4 trillion in costs to cover everyone.

That's correct. The only thing is those who forced this into law didn't plan on it failing as fast as it did.

I do not want to be misunderstood here. Overall, I do not think the criticism leveled at the Trump administration has been particularly vicious, other than by internet gadflies who want to ***** about Melania's shoes. I believe that most concerns about him and his fitness for office are well-warranted.

My point was as I said: we need to talk more about what we support than what we oppose. To do otherwise is to let Trump continue to dominate the conversation, which is how we ended up with him in the first place.

Its hasn't "failed" yet. How long was the process of failing supposed to take?

I think you are giving too much credit to those Dems master planners, who got even the GOP to dance to their music.

Naah, I just made it up out of the information available with even a modicum of research about the published wait times for all countries having universal or single payer systems of delivery then went a bit further and compared to the tables readily available by WHO as to comparisons to outcomes, average lifespans and the medical tourism figures for Americans leaving the U.S. to go TO those places for cheaper readily obtainable healthcare and simply assumed anyone else with one, or even two, functioning brain cells would do the same.

Guess I was wrong, eh?

Good. Certainly cannot be more disastrous than anything the GOP has put forth so far. And Trump doesn't care what is in it as long as it passes.
